Advert Placement Rules and Guidelines

Thank you for signing up with PH. Now you can start selling your cars to 2.5 million unique potential buyers.

We have set a side a few simple rules and guidelines to ensure you get the best possible response to your adverts:

  1. Wanted and ‘Help to sell’ adverts need to be placed in their associated wanted categories; each manufacturer has a wanted section assigned.
  2. Adverts offering services of any sort (e.g. consignments, leasing, brokerage, product ranges, car sourcing or contracts and hires) are not permitted in the classifieds.
  3. Adverts with misleading price information are not permitted (the price on the advert should be the purchase price of the car).
  4. Registration plates, products and accessories have their own allocated categories and should not be placed within the vehicle sections.
  5. We have allocated categories for all your classified advertising needs, and placement of adverts in the wrong category, or placement of adverts that are considered to be in breach of point 2 (above) may lead to automatic removal.

If you feel we should add a category to the classifieds please feel free to contact us. For all other types of advertising, we can offer you highly targeted display and forum campaigns tailored to your company’s needs and catering for any services and products that cannot be included in the classifieds. Please contact our sales team on 0208 267 5305 for more info and rates.

By advertising with Pistonheads, you are agreeing to do so in accordance to these rules and guidelines and disregarding these may result in your account being suspended. These rules are in addition to the terms and conditions displayed below. If you are unsure of where your advert needs to be placed, please contact sales@pistonheads.com
